Hoop Experts

Basketball trivia, head to head.

Hoop Experts is a real-time quiz duel for people who know the game. You and an opponent get the same question at the same moment, with 30 seconds on the clock. NBA, EuroLeague and national teams.

How many?NBAHard, 3 points

How many points did Wilt Chamberlain score against the Knicks on 2 March 1962?

Show the answer

100Still the NBA record for one game. In Hoop Experts the closer guess takes the points, and an exact answer earns one more.

How a match works

Twelve rounds, one opponent, and a scoreboard that doesn't lie. A match takes less than ten minutes.

  1. Pick the topic

Each round one of you picks from three topics, like Which year? in the EuroLeague, and then how hard: easy for 1 point, medium for 2, hard for 3. You take turns.

  2. Beat the clock

You both get the question at the same moment. Type a name, guess a number, put a list in order. Don't know it? Pass and wait for the next one.

  3. Take the points

Right answers score. On number questions the closer guess wins. Still level after twelve rounds? One hard tiebreaker decides it.

The pick screen: three topics, Which year? in the EuroLeague, How many? in the NBA and History in the NBA, and the difficulty buttons for 1, 2 or 3 points.
Pick a topic and how hard.
A question: In which year did FC Barcelona win its first EuroLeague title? A year box, a Submit button and a Pass button, with the shot clock at 27.
Answer before the clock runs out.
A round result: the correct answer, 2003, with each player's answer and points.
See who got it, and who was closer.
